This sounds like some basic bs advice but it genuinely helped me

Organize your work, make a to do list or something and write down wtv homework you need to do and what tests to study for

This way I knew what to do each day and I stopped missing assignments

I was an excellent test taker I was just lazy and disorganized as fuck so I had 30 missed assignments and a 3.1 gpa by the end of the year
