Whats the obsessions with people taking pictures stop living in the past

I truly do believe people the only reason why someone would take pictures when they are doing something fun is because they are stuck in the past. So much to the point where they have no other option but to be reminiscent acting like a little bitch

This is what your doing, going backwards. Instead of taking pictures trying to compensate for a moment that's destined to past focus on what's yet to come

i would say that taking pictures when doing something fun (just going on vacation perhaps) is fine for the most part like taking pictures of some cool museum of tree or whatever. taking selfies nonstop of yourself on vacation and posting them all the time is just fuel for validation from others and its just very irritating (not if you are chad or stacy because of halo effect). anyways its nice to see that you visited some place before and get new ideas to explore elsewhere.

taking like progress pics or smth is fine too since you can look at that past and understand where you went wrong. and most importantly, making the decision of whether you improved or not (like a gauge). focusing on the past will keep you in the past (trite saying but true) because you are so focused on what already happened.

thats why you see people peaking in high school because they are so fixated on the now and are usually partying hella and compensating their looks and later going into adulthood and regreting it hard.
