What's the point in wageslaving when you can just open a restaurant and earn the same money?

Met a guy who opened a bar/restaurant in Chiang Mai (Thailand) and is earning 3,000€ per month. Considering it's in Thailand, it's equivalent to like 10,000€ in Europe. He's living like a king by doing absolutely nothing as he has a staff that take care of his business

Meanwhile the average wage-slaver has to work like crazy, work over-time, compete with the other wage-slavers, navigate D&I bullshit and barely make ends meet. What a fucking pathetic life. I'm seriously considering leaving my office job and open a restaurant myself

I agree although you can still find a partner to share the initial capital cost
I'd rather work hard to have my own business, than wage slave for somebody else
