What's the point of getting MSE if you dont widen your lower jaw?

Everyone on this forum is getting MSE, but what's the point? Correct me if im wrong but after mse you need a very expensive surgery that widen your lower jaw?

no depending on the amount of expanision you could get away with only orthodontic tipping, some lower palate expander, or yes something like msdo or imdo, but unless if you do the full 11 or 12 mm thats not going to happen

It's called IMDO or Bimax. Remember What Dr.Ting said. When you're recessed, your mandible is alrdy gonna be narrower but when you move it up, it'll be wider naturally. But, if it's still not as wide as you want, MSDO,IMDO, and Implants are always and option
