yep, casual dating philosophy says you shouldnt be the first one to figure out what you want from each other and that you shouldnt ask certain stuff, but asking a girl on the first date whether she is trying to get married and whether she is a virgin has let me filter out the girls I dont want super easily. In fact I dont even do that, I just ask them on the phone before we go do anything.

Thing is that girls love it because they are looking for the niche of a serious guy that wants to love them and most guys just want to fuck or at least pretend to so they are 'nonchalant' as though thats what it means.
