Whats the relative importance of your resting face vs expressions (talking, smiling etc)

I was thinking it was 80/20 in favour of resting face but maybe im coping because most of the time if youre interacting with someone irl your face is not at rest

Resting face is more important but some people do geneuinelly descend when they start emoting. Mostly people with shit teeth/palates/forward growth.

I descend hard when I start emoting- maybe this is the cause of my introverism cos I know Ill look better if I jsut walk around with some dark brooding expression.

Some people who are only moderatly recessed (aka “invisible” to normies) can look good with resting face if they have good pheno/coloring/soft features to make up for their bones.

Got a skeletal overbite but dental compensation.

Yeah I know man- oh well another firm reminder to get the surgery done- just feels like ive been sentenced to 18 months in purgatory while I wait for this surgery haha

I have major smile halo, and whenever I emote people consider it cute. Apparently I have cute mannerisms and the way I speak is funny supposedly- like how I word stuff
