Japanese / South Korean movies are way better, especially when it comes to my favorite: horror movies. Japanese horror movies are unbeatable. And South Korean thrillers are really great, too.

But trust me, when it comes to horror movies, Japanese movies are on top.

Proof? Look at the wave of American remakes of Asian horror, mostly Japanese horror movies.

The Ring and The Grudge were both very successful in terms of scare factor as well as revenue.

The only thing Hollywood has going for itself is its popularity: but when it comes to the finished product, Asians are better.

Even Hollywood directors have praised Asian cinema and consider some of their movies to be their favorite.

I dont disagree with you. But It just seemed you refuse to watch American movies even if they are insanely good, just because 'they are american'. Which seems like a waste for someone who likes to watch good movies
