What's usually the case of a good side profile but bad front?

I see a few guys who have bad front's but look pretty aesthetic from the side, what gives?

I have most of the times (99.9%) seen the opposite they look good from front (chad tier) and have dead average side profile (sometimes even subhuman )
Eg include Chico , Brad Pitt

It's usually cause of a recessed upper maxilla/cheekbones (which doesn't show much from side if lower isn't recessed) and/or a really narrow jaw

This actress from The White Lotus is a textbook example of recessed upper maxilla/undereye area and looking dogshit from from with giga UEE but having a decent side profile

Often times people like this have a very wide forehead because when the upper maxilla is at a non-ideal angle, the temple region of the masseter muscle is over engaged which leads to less mass at the jaw section of the masseter muscle (leading to a narrow jaw) and more mass at the temple region of the masseter muscle (leading to a wide forehead)
