jfl in 8th grade, i did a group project where we chose affirmative action [and whether it was proper] for a research presentation topic and obviously we had a pretty conclusive findings abt whether it was meritocratic or not. our teacher was a white guy w a black wife and very surprisingly we got a 74% grade on it

(the guy also got mad at us cuz we made a joke 'it seems like asians have very small...pause...room for improvement in their test scores' lmfao)
