Whats with greys underrating

I am fully aware that im also grey but i noticed the pattern of grey and bluecels specifically rating a lot lower than other members of the forum usually in increments of mtn eg: high mtn when every other person who isnt new to the forum rates htn or even cl, is this out of a sheer lack of knowledge or spite?
