What's with some girls having brightly colored hair / makeup / piercings that they ditch as soon as they land a bf?

I've noticed a subset of girls who go absolutely crazy with hair dye, makeup, piercings and clothing.

Then they land a boyfriend.

Then suddenly they look completely normal, some even deleting all the pics during their crazy phase off insta.

Piercings, tattoos, dyed all her hair in an unnatural color are signs or mental issues, daddy or mommy issues, they're a red flag in general.

Knew a girl who got raped at 14, bullied in her childhood and she has aa piercing, blue hair and wears boys clothes despite not looking like a tomboy

I bullied a girl when i was like 10-11 and she was my classmate, everyone hated her for no reason, we were just evil and picked on her for being quiet. Fast forward and she's 17 or 18 now. She's a feminist, short red hair (not short for girls, but for guys ), draws anime and fnaf, has a piercing

But idk why some ditch these as soon as they land a bf, never seen this happen, maybe they don't want to look like whores anymore or give off redflags to the guy. Or they're in a good ltr and she can vent out her problems and get rid of her style because she's getting healthier and normal mentally
