it’s one of the few areas where Bluepilled normies, liberals, the right, and even blackpillers align: Porn is toxic. Porn rots the brain. Porn sets unrealistic sex standards. Porn ruins your dopamine receptors etc etc

There’s this pervasive anti porn narrative in every corner of the culture wars and various internet spheres.

Why? Lol. How is porn at the root of so many problems that people claim to have?

This seems to me one of the biggest cases of reverse causation. People assume that porn causes a shit life. I think it’s the opposite. It’s probably the case that a shit life means one resorts to porn.

You watching some hardcore porn or whatever the fuck else is somehow ruining your life and preventing you from moneymaxxing, lifting, and ascending? You can’t be serious

The meme about 'unrealistic standards' is hands down the single biggest normie cope of all time. And I'm not just talking about porn, but EVERYTHING.

The 80/20 rule (which is actually more like a 95/5 rule) applies to EVERY single aspect of life. To say that porn sets an 'unrealistic standard' is like saying that observing how the rich live sets an unrealistic standard about money.

Normies are so desensitized to their own shitty existence that they can't even wrap their head around the fact that their lives (and the lives of most people) are mediocre bullshit.

Within any given demographic or community, only the top 1-5% are relevant. Everyone/everything else is a waste of time.
