I think it's just guys being really ignorant or even trolling when they say that

You can fix some failos but stuff like having a natural pleasing stretched face, harmonious thirds, beautiful eyes, those things are definitely out of reach for surgery lol and the times people have tried to do these procedures they look uncanny as shit
