Aesthetically I think it would look better to fix it this way which would make my lower third longer instead of having a shorter middle third?

I mean people here have argued about this for people with vertical excess in the maxilla, i have seen good results using impaction but if you're not sure about it you can do just the BSSO but of course ultimately it depends on your XRAY exams and what surgeons think about your case, i am not that knowledgeable abt this but you can look at old threads that talk about impaction to form an opinion

I haven't seen your face, if you want to you can dm me, you need to take a frontal picture and a lateral one to see your profile, with your head tilted in a perfect frankfort horizontal plane position, both of these pictures taken at least 6 feet away from your phone to avoid lens distortion and with perfect lightning
