Make ur laptop stand up, set the fans at he highest level, and make sure the ventilation isn't blocked.

I havent changed mine in 5 years my pc works just fine

Lift it off your desk with a book or something, vents could be blocked. It could be malware silently racking up your CPU as well, my old PC had a boatload malware on it and would be at 100% disk, 100% CPU, and 100% GPU whenever I'd turn it on.
