What's your gut reaction to this

Tbh Citroen C4 is not a bad car but this new car technology is retarded af :feelswhat:. In old zero technology cars you had to lower the handbrake by yourself, doesnt matter if car is running or not even if you press throttle. This new shit has some kind of dumb AI that does all sort of weird shit because people became so fucking lazy that cars have to turn off parking brake for them.
Its no wonder she didnt know how to press brakes tbh, she probably never even seen how brake/gas pedals look like and where they are located. At least she could ve tried steering the car somehwere safer instead of screaming and flailing her hands around like a fucking magikarp

Why do you balkaners like Citroens and Peugeots

Teen girl is crushed to death by family car in front of her father.

> Lily Sedley-Jones, 17, was sitting alone in her family's Citroen C4, waiting for her father and brothers. For unknown reasons, she decided to get in the driver's seat and start the car's engine.
> The handbrake automatically disengaged when the engine started, and the car started rolling downhill. The car's doors locked automatically due to its speed, preventing the girl's father from entering.
> Her father watched helplessly as the car rolled across the road with Lily trapped inside. The panicked 17-year-old was unable to engage the brakes or escape the vehicle.
> Lily was heard screaming as the car crashed into a wall and flipped over, partially throwing the teen through a window.
> The vehicle rolled on top of Lily, crushing the girl's upper body between the vehicle and the road. She was declared dead at the scene from massive cerebral injuries.

seems brutal and unlucky

how do you not know how to engage the brakes or exit the vehicle? Why din't the air bag work? It isn't clear if she got into the front seat and then started the car or started the car by reaching over the seat, and then tried to climb into the front seat.

17 year olds hardly know how to wipe their asses these days. You wouldn't believe how much smart phones can dumb a person down.

Seems like a serious design flaw, why did the handbrake disengage when starting the engine, why did the doors lock, these new cars have everything automatic controlled by a processor, just give me a good old-fashioned car where everything is manual...
she might've set it to drive, that's when the handbrake automatically disengages on these newer vehicles. But stupid of her without knowing how to engage the brake as that's what you ALWAYS do

unable to engage the brakes

How does that even happen if the engine is started. Also how the fuck did she accelerate that fast even going down a slope surely.
