Tbh looking kinda fire
I don’t want a bachelor in bio/chem just to end up jobless if I don’t pursue a PhD or go to med school.
Seems like a decent balance, work hours aren’t crazy, studying probably gonna be tough but idk

I would never go to uni tbh it’s a waste of time unless I was high IQ and really approachable/friendly so could get easy good grades + networking.
Unless of course you are passionate about what you’re studying.

I have a similar idea I'm thinking of majoring in physiology or kinesiology for athletic training

I think if you go to med school and do sports med/related fields the pay is pretty dope and I've heard it's not nearly as taxing as other medical specialties, unless of course, you somehow manage to get into dermatology jfl, luckiest fuckers out there

I'm not sure about physiotherapy, I've only thought of going to med school and then I'd worry about the specialty later, but I'm almost certain the pay will be under six figures, and for whatever reason I can't stomach working a sub-6 figure job.

but then again you probably get out of uni earlier, less expensive tuition fees, less work hours etc.

It’s a backup if I don’t get into medicine tbh I find sports medicine very interesting too

The only University that offers physiotherapy where I live is a fucking 1 and a half to 2 hour drive each way which is just so shit.
There’s no good accommodation around the area too which sucks

The best job as a physiotherapist would be if you manage to work for a female sports team like soccer, handball, volleyball, etc. - you would get to massage the girls, travel with them, stay in the same hotels, eat at the same restaurants - you're gonna spend a lot of time together.

Yea only problem tbh it’s hard to make over 100k.
Would’ve seriously considered it if the University that offered it was closer but it’s too much of a drive both ways could spend 4 hours in traffic a day ffs

i can see u become one tbh

It depends, I mean you can apply for a position with a team when one is available, although they might prefer a woman for this job, back in the old days these jobs were mostly held by men.

Good degree. If you can work as a physio you'll make good money, but you can also work as a sports trainer or strength and conditioning coach with that. When I was a personal trainer at a college gym the varsity s&c coach was trained as a physio. Luck mofo worked with all the girls field hockey, volleyball, etc.

it's hyper nt and interesting

also, you can still apply to med schools after with that as an undergrad no? or is it different where you're at?
