if you consistently score in a certain range and choose legit tests like the one I showed then you get a pretty good idea of your iq

btw how good you are at languages is a very bad indicator, you only need to pay attentiont o pattern recognition (everything the brain does is pattern recognition) and sequence continuation (again pattern recognition but sometimes not labelled as such)

and obviously not all online iq tests are shit, but it is indeed hard to find actually difficult tests if you have above avg iq

If you get a high score will you stop trying? If so you will always get beat by a mediocre hardworking iq person

If you get a low score will you ldar and keep repeating it's over to yourself until you believe it and not even reach the potential you could have had you not fret about it?

High iq vs average iq is like driving a sports car vs volvo. Ultimately if you don't drive you will never reach the destination

Pretty much. And it makes sense because pure maths is very similar to recognizing a pattern in an iq test.

That said, considering this is academia, women and other minorities are specially 'encouraged' to stay there and certainly have an easier time getting a leading position. They have to meet their diversity quota and I think that pulls the average down by quite a bit jfl.

I scored 200 on an online iq test
Means nothing
Meanwhile I scored 99+ on OLSAT WISC IV PSAT SAT, attend a top uni and I'm not as smart as my parents.
We must discuss inherent fallacies in quantifying intelligence, especially inaccuracies in IQs above 2sd. Stanford Binet and Wechsler max out around 160 (4sd). Higher iqs have greater variance in intelligence type.

Good sign you are open to criticism instead of getting offended as many would. Openness reinforces you are above average iq (~110 ish). Lots of reading modestly increases IQ, especially at your age.
