What’s your opinion on cars since the world is going electric?

This is the new knock off James Bond ad from Polestar, an electric car manufacturing company that makes elegant, premium super fast cars featuring chadlite Alexander Skarsgård.

Stocks like Polestar, Rivian, BYD have been plummeted since last few years, it’s risky to invest in electric but worthy to note world is going electric soon enough. (Europe first by ~ 2035)

My question goes to the people who are not just car enthusiasts but also non-car enthusiasts. What’s your opinion on the world going electric? Is it that you can then save has money and not be called gay or do you already not care about what runs the wheels of a vehicle or the driving dynamics? Lemme know

the problem is that cobalt which is in most of batteries have sources in africa where big concerns dont really care about workers, making it a modern time slavery

Electric cars are the future, they are faster, more energy-efficient, can travel longer distances, and less polluting. Hydrogen fuel cell cars are also something not to be scoffed at...
The only people ive seen hating on electric cars are people who like the roar of powerful car engines and think EVs are for pussies who dont want a gas guzzling 10 million dollar hypercar. I'll admit these cars may look hella badass but for the average person they are unrealistc and unaffordable. Anyone completely knocking down electric cars are basically ignorant nostalgists in denial of the superiority of EVs. V12 engines are cool (if i get rich im definetly buying a bugatti lol) but whats better is clean air and peace and quiet. But we must be aware of the challenges of EVs in the future, including running out of lithium (which the majority of is in china, so prices of EVs may increase in the future should the CCP choose to fuck us over, and stop dumping cheap chinese EVs onto foreign markets at a lost profit) and whether or not cars in general are better than public transport
