What’s your philosophical standpoint

i saw this guy say "there is no evidence that we have not just been on earth for an hour and all the past is just made up" or sum like dat

its called "last thursdayism"

ive been thinking about it all week
i've come up with a similar thought as a kid, what if everything you remember as memories are actually things that never happend, but we think they did

exactly, i just started writing down and explaining how i see every aspect of my life for myself, and eventually came up with a concept that already exists with extra steps ✌️

Favorite book?
Of all authors? I couldn't say right now. Hegel? I have only "read" phenomenology and then studied (actually not in a very Hegelian way) some extracts. I mainly have interest in his dialectics and ideas of history as what I read most of the time are more modern authors like Adorno, Baudrillard, Debord... I am no philosophy student so I just have my free time 😔. I would actually say Gramsci s notebooks are my favorite book but because they are such blueprint for modernity...

On Hegel, you should skip chapter V it's the most boring (and refuted) one. All the rest are important tho, chapter III I find it very hard.
