Shampoo only once a week or when hair is dirty and condition every time you do so.

Use a non greasy oil based product as pre-styler on damp hair, then blow dry with a diffuser (very important), use a 'hair cream' product to style lightly.

and here for if you want to make your curly hair wavy or straight:

Don’t listen to these people jfl, watch manes by Mell. Women know more about hair than men by far. I use (this product sounds gay af but it’s good and cheap) dippity doo girls with curls, I use the deep conditioner, curl definer, and gel. She has a video on this

dog shit advice, 2 weeks of no products result in insane amounts of build up

nothing. I just straighten my hair or try to keep it flat. My hair is wavy but very coarse and it's so gay looking if i leave it wavy.

first thing is to determine your hair porosity, there are a ton of youtube videos on it

this will help you understand how your hair responds to water, oils, creams etc... and how to act accordingly

next thing is to see how your hair reacts to protein, you can do this by using a protein treatment and seeing how you hair reacts, for some ppl it will become really conditioned and soft, for others it will become brittle

learn these and you could build a routine over time

interesting, what are the protein treatments? keratin?
Can you pass some videos?

tbh I sometimes use a hair relaxer and it leaves my hair OK straight. I think I have high porosity because is naturally dry looking and it tangles easily :hnghn:

i may post a thread with some good oils to use on hair

do these tests, make sure your hair is shampooed, don't condition it, and let it airdry and just leave it alone repeat these tests with cold water, warm water and hot water

these are good articles which contain useful info about protein:

I have really coarse hair so im prone to giga frizz.

1) OGX Conditioner (let it sit in hair for 5 minutes) in shower, I do this every 2 days at night.
2) In the morning I get my hair pretty wet in the sink, apply leave in conditioner (shea brand) and use a wide tooth comb to spread the product around, let air dry.

theres stuff like gel too, I have a bad experience with gel but that can work fairly well too. When my hair is fully dried I shake it in all directions to break up the curls and get volume, this part is key imo.

also lol @ Muh I use no products im fully natural :soy:.Every retard who says this either has wavy hair at best or an ugly nappy afro

I use a non-sulfate shampoo for the roots of my hair so they aren’t oily. I condition the ends with Shea moisture. But I have dense and fine hair so it may be different for you.
