I didn't mean steganography, I meant STENOGRAPHY
Stenography is a typing method using a special keyboard, which are used for trials, and any jobs where you have to type really fast.
You easily reach 200/300wpm because they work by clicking on multiple keys at the same time to reproduce the sound and write the word / multiple letters at once.

if your goal is solely typing fast, QWERTY sucks dick.

it doesn't.

you type the speed that you can make up the code, not ur typing speed. U think way slower than u type.

That's true. It doesn't affect my day to day tasks too much now compared to my competitive coding days but still it is one of those skills that is great to have as a coder. Typing fast means you are able to brainstorm sessions, pair program, debug on the fly without that annoying lag where you're stumbling over keys or autocorrect nonsense.

The keyboard doesn't do shit imo, as long as it's not a cheap ass one.

My keyboard is not ergonomic at all and I hit 100 wpm on long duration and 200 on small ones.

That's interesting, I've always been held back by the speed of my thought process and not my typing speed itself.

I've nowhere near ur experience, but whenever I'm writing something, be it a leetcode exercise, or something for my own project I'd never get held back by my typing speed.

It will come with experience especially on LeetCode. All those DSA problems are the same core algorithms two pointers, DFS/BFS, dynamic programming, binary search just twisted with new flavors or constraints. After grinding enough problems you will start seeing these patterns too and you'll spot the optimal approach almost instantly.

That same conworker that I talked about using that ergonomic keyboard he can think through an entire problem and mentally visualize the code before even touching the keyboard. The real shit is system design problems those are the real beasts. It is vast and require a lot of thinking. But they are usually only asked for senior roles so you safe for now.
