When did playing video games all day become normal NT behavior?

I don't understand when zoomers decided to normalize playing video games all day. When I was in middle and high school, my classmates would play CoD once a week and I would be bullied for playing 12 hours a day. I had everyone added from my school and wouldn't have anyone to play with 99% of the time since all my normie friends after school would hang out together, play sports, and talk to girls so I would resort to playing with random outcasts from around the world . I encountered less than a handful of girls in my 5+ years of no-lifeing video games. If you paid any money on a game, such as changing your gamertag, you were considered a nerd. Cosmetic items were not even a thought. If you played any non-violent/masc game like Minecraft or Roblox you were called a faggot.

Now seems like every zoomer, with a lot of girls included, are playing fortnite/roblox/minecraft/warzone for 8 hours a day and it's considered normal NT behavior. Being a gamer is apparently a cool thing now, along with buying skins/battle passes/robux and other shit. Is this just confirming the rising hypergamy? Guys can't talk to girls so they just play video games all day? Not even just ugly incels like it was 10 years ago, but normies too.

I played warzone today, which is the first video game I've played in like 3 years. I don't have any friends so I just played random lobbies and it was full of NT-sounding 10-16 year olds who all knew each other irl with like 300+ hours played and max level with tons of cosmetics unlocked. I even played with a fucking 4 year old on a bloody graphic war game. A fucking 4 year old on the mic talking and whining. For all his parents know I could've been telling him about sex and santa claus and shit. I should've told him to keep his tongue at the roof of his mouth or something lmfao.

@MakinItHappenReturn wtf is up with zoomers nowadays? Why are millennial parents allowing their kids to play M-rated games all day instead of playing outside practicing sports and learning to be NT.

There's grown ass men playing roblox at my college who are in friend groups with girls and shit. Even some black friend groups are playing games on there. Most are freshman so this just recently became a thing.

Not sure if its because of sub 50th percentage brain genetics completely or the fact that my surroundings are shit after highschool. Very bad acne, shit frame (6 inch wrists), spaced out teeth, stuttering that got progressively worse. In elementary and first half of middle school i was fat too so bulied for that. Bullying stopped around 17 when i lost my acne, frame became much better and social anxiety became better, but it was to late

Ended up getting a college scholarship and hanging out with NT Chad slayers so I don't see the issue.
