If you look at Reddit threads from 10+ years ago, you see many good discussions. There’s no political correctness, and people are trying to to arrive at the truth and while having a thought provoking discussion. Now it’s incredibly soy and any remotely conservative/red-pilled opinion gets downvoted into oblivion. What exactly triggered this change in the Reddit culture.? On the contrary, if you go over to Quora, you will still see many based replies and conversations.

I have not used reddit enough to provide an opinion on the timeline. But the why is fairly easy to explain. The business model relies on Moderators that work either for nothing or very little. Thus the Mod staff inevitably becomes dominated by people, mostly women, that don't leave their home because they don't work and are on some form of social welfare. Such people are overwhelmingly empathy obsessed leftists.

Lol redditors are anything but empathic. They are extremely bitter racists.

you off by about 11 years.

They are just not empathetic to you, because they have bought into the dehumanizing leftist propaganda that characterizes everyone that does not agree with them as Nazis.

2015 when they banned fatpeoplehate that was legit my favourite sub and like at least 10 percent of reddit was on it. Nothing remotely close to that would be allowed now.
