may not happen for u. around 1-2 weeks mark u will see the increase in whiteheads if u purge and will stop at maximum 12 weeks normally around week 6.

u can minimise purging by taking it eod or 2x/week for the first week or 2 and increase it

u should start as early as possible but if ur looking to slay on ur vacation it will make ur skin worse most likely from the irritation or purge if u do
