when i was a kid i used my imagination more naturally

paper and pencil could get me fun for the whole day to where i wouldnt want to sleep. as my knowledge increased i just realized the futility of such work. writing naive stories, impractical games, pointless drawing

now the challenge is to channel this feeling into something at the level of my current, more developed understanding

i only care about results now. yet i also need fun, for i refuse to work for results if it requires unfun
