And they'd go away in 2 days. but now I'm an adult and I get like 5 mosquito bites and they all get mildly infected and go away in like 5 days and I'm basically immune the urge to itch

Yeah but also how come I only got dog ticks as a kid and I was never afraid of them but now I get deer ticks which make me jump in fear when I see them on me
