Behind the counter in the shop we kept alcohol on display as well as vapes, medicine, self care products and other bits
Whenever someone asked for an item that wasn't usually asked for (so I was unfamiliar with where it was placed at first glance) I noticed that the customer would often get aggravated and point saying "look it's there, that side look" if I hadn't located the item within the first few seconds.
In their peanut brain they are thinking "I've taken time to locate this item so I'm looking directly at this item and ignoring all other items, how can this person who has just turned around to a display of dozens of items (while standing much closer meaning less field of view) not see it immediately?"

When I have to listen to people who cannot see the bullshit of the covid narrative, I become that subhuman who is looking directly at an item and wondering why someone else cannot instantly see the item
