when is it a good time to switch from tretinoin?

ive closed in on about 2 and a half weeks now on tretinoin 0.1% and ive had a slight purge for the first week or so and now that its died down im seeing very minimal changes or none at all, im gonna start triple dosing a week from now but i feel tretinoin is just not working for me, havent had much irratation or redness but a little peeling. im considering starting accutane instead soon. any opinions? im using it along side azelaic acid ofc im on the hype train
