When is it better to have high contrast or low contrast?

But is having high contrast coloring a good choice if youre not that good looking? Or is it better to have harmonious low contrast coloring if ur not gl

Ive seen ppl on here who have super light blue eyes and contrast and stuff but it makes them look kinda alien

imo if u are average or above then really striking colouring like tanned, black hair, light eyes, looks really good and can be more beneficial than having better bones (to some extent ofc) for example mtn with Adriana lima colouring > htn with basic colours. if ur already ugly tho its a 50/50 and can save ur looks or make u look even worse
