I did thumb pulling to align my teeth without knowing that was a thing and just believing this would work naturally over time. I did it daily for about 6 months and it worked quite well. I did it during watching TV. This was in my early teens though.

However, I used thumb pulling on my upper palette for the last year now for 3 minutes in the morning and 3 minutes at night. This has worked damn near wonders. My face is wider my ramus is standing out more and overall my face has a more defined look and more masculine appeal. Combine this with my daily chewing exercises and my face has really improved dramatically over the 2 years.

For teeth, I was about 13 years of age. For my upper palate it's recently and I'm nearly 40 years old.

I did bone smashing for Muy Thai as a kid for my entire body except my face to make my body unbreakable. Yes I was inspired by the movie that just came out but my research led me to Buddhist monks and Muay Thia masters achieving this. So the bones are moldable and can be hardened. The younger the better but I don't recommend to anyone before starting puberty or if you have any level of osteoperosis.

depends what you got it for if you got it for more teeth space than its fine but for maxillary growth than yes
