Yeah but if it were a mental ilness it wouldnt solve itself without therapy. id say if you attempt and than somewhere while believing you are going to die you think about how it would have been if you actually gave something your all and than the next morning you do exactly that you were never mentally ill to begin with. If you just go and immediatly up the dose than yeah thats a mental illness

id agree if we were purily animals. The thing is that we can think and reason but we still choose the path of least resistance. In a healthy environment the path of least ressistance is just ur natural life but a stressfull one and the path of least ressistance might just overwhelmingle be death

Can confirm ASD is for the worse lol but personally ive never felt mentally ill after 12 because i developed reasoning. Those disorders atleast when higher functioning wont interfere with your reasoning unlike more serious stuff like depression and BPD.

Weird grey area because its a spectrum so some you might be able to call mentally ill some not
