Keeping your nose out of people's business is what led to many millionaires and billionaires today. When people mind their own business, opportunists prosper.
Try this on for size. Ten vendors mind their business. Each seller offers a unique product. An eleventh vendor comes along and offers their products at cheaper costs. Knowing the vendors keep their noses out of others' businesses, the opportunist uses that to run them all out of business by telling customers their products are garbage and offering them at lower discounts.
Walmart, the poster child that put their nose into other people's business and later ran many out of business.
Criminals, rather, you mind your own business. Upper-class thieves make it a priority to teach lower classes to mind their business.
When you keep your nose out of people's business, you make yourself vulnerable to snakes who benefit from knowing your business. Just because you mind your own business doesn't mean everyone else will.
Let's take the mainstream media for a good illustration. To you, they seem like people who penetrate their noses into other people's business. But in fact, they protect corporations and parties of interest from you sliding your nose into their business. Whenever non-law enforcement rubs themselves into their business, they send the press to dig up dirt on that person and destroy their credibility. And if they have problems with smaller companies injuring their profits, they send their press to jackhammer those companies into shitholes.
The liberal government got involved in the noisy business scheme many years ago. They, too, go after threats against the corporations that pay them.
