When should you abandon a potential slay? Some thoughts

When should you abandon, say, a hinge match or a girl you got the number of? When they start giving one word replies? When they make setting up a date hard? When they don't message for a day? When the conversation stops flowing?

Or maybe you always wait for her to abandon you first? (This is pathetic but the most practical maybe, though emotionally the hardest as then you get rejected by basically every girl you like eventually, and also wastes time on girls that aren't giving out shit. This is what I have been doing being as "practical" as possible until recently.)

Curious where everyone here draws the line so that they don't waste their time or emotional energy.

I have no experience in this but I'd abandon when they start becoming an inconvenience, such as being boring or making dates difficult etc

basically when you try talk to them and all they do is respond not try keep the conversation alive it just shows shes not interested ive experienced this lol told me she only sees me as a friend and even then didnt talk about anything to me

I legit can't im an autist, and it's made even more confusing from experiences like having a girl flake on me last second and then have sex with me the first date, or having a girl ghost me over text for multiple days but then agree to a house date after I called her and then have sex with me. Maybe some ovulation shit? That's the only way I can explain it.
