But like really then, what's the advantage or taking a pic over recording, there has to be a reason a picture is more superior or something otherwise it makes like no sense not to record and screen shot the exact moment u look the best

Video typically has a reduction in quality on phones but it's better to sacrifice some visual fidelity for an optimum shot.

don't most phones have rapid-fire photo mode? better quality than video screenshot but same idea
