When to use azelaic acid in skincare routine

I use a tretinoin 0.025 gel at night and i have heard azelaic acid pairs up well with it. When should i use it? At night with the tretinoin or some time else? It says in the bottle its 15% azelaic acid with zinc and niacinamide.

use it in the morning and be careful not to compromise ur skin barrier as theyre both drying
