This isn't one of my emo threads btw. What I'm trying to ask, is when was the last time you felt a pure sense of bliss, not the basal happiness you get by eating chocolate, hearing a joke, or playing vidya.
I'll tell you my last time:
It happened sometime around late May or early June this year. Me and my family were on holiday in Central Turkey and me and my mother went on a hot air balloon ride. The balloon had to depart at early in the morning around 4:00AM for some reason, but I'm glad they did, because halfway throughout my journey I experienced an overwhelming joy, a kind of joy that is almost inexplicable, it held the entire spectrum of emotions that could be constituted as happiness, from the small relaxing lows, such as having a warm shower or getting a nice massage, to the greatest heights, such as hearing a really funny joke or being at a party, I saw the most beautiful sunrise ever rise atop the mountains of Cappadocia, Bathing the arid steppe within it's light.
Though a few of those reading may have found what my experience was to be underwhelming compared to how I described it, I must assure you. It was anything but.
