When I was 9 years old - had a good tight knit friend group and we had a Youtube channel together where we'd making gaming tutorials
Lost that friend group soon after that cuz we parted ways. I watched a lot of anime to cope and was certain one day I would get what I saw in anime - a friend group, wholesome relationship with a girl, just a generally wholesome social life. Nothing crazy. No aspirations to "slay" or take advantage of people. I thought it was a reasonable aspiration and a life practically all teenagers and young adults apart from the absolute freaks could lead.
It never happened though

actually I change my mind; when I was 14-15, really tight good friend group, not a worry about school, Covid lockdown so could just play video games with them all day and night. that’s when it was good
