Now USA has total leverage over them, so they will reach a deal, and then America will enable it to open, but with new conditions. China will pressure Iran to back down and yield, and if they don't, America will just keep the Strait closed. Either way they win.

That would work if Trump wasn't so desperate to end the war. Its looking like Iran will go out this with sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.

Also if the plan was to just cut off China from oil, why even attack the Iranian regime? 4d-chess to make them close the strait of hormuz so you can close the gulf of Oman as a response? Sounds far-fetched.
