When Will I ever be able to mew?

Rn I have had braces for 2 years and getting them off in a month but then I rage at the fact I will have to wear retainers for the rest of my life??
Most sources say you cant mew with retainers as they are 2 opposites.
What am I supposed to do if I wanna mew??? Everytime I browse tiktok 100% of the good looking guys ALWAYS have good jaws.

mewing wont get you a good jaw its genetic, but it does help a little especially with hyoid bone to raise it up. it wont give you good looking guy jaw thats your parents fault for being recessed. you can get surgery

Idk tbh I only found out what retainers are recently. But this is state funded so it will probably be the cheap/traditional/cost effective type of retainer as my braces were typical fixed metal ones. Are you implying that I can mew with certain types of retainers?

If any UKcels are here what retainers do you get from the NHS i cant find anything online

The only retainers you can mew with are the permanently fixed 4 teeth retainer

anything else will block any mewing progress
