AI companies are spending all their cash and entering net negatives. The one reason they are doing it is in hopes of reaching AGI. There are a lot of factors at play here but I predict there will be a pop in the next 2 years since the AI is not returning a profit. Long-term there will either be a catastrophic crash or meteoric rise depending on if AGI is attainable.
