This calculator estimates how long it takes for you to get to 10 % body fat. Results should be encouraging: if you have a sufficient caloric deficit it won't take years until you get to 10% body fat, which probably is optimal for looks and quality of life.

There are some assumptions that might make it a bit optimistic, but nevertheless, if the results are in the same ballpark as the reality it should give you the motivation to lose fat.

The calculator estimates that you only lose fat and not muscle. Get enough protein and lift and the assumption is not too far from reality.

Take it from me, the jawline master, calories is cope

This is because it is impossible to accurately count calories ( because Nutrition labels fudge their numbers ) and your metabolism will adjust to calorie deficit diets

If you regulary eat 2500 calories a day, and drop down to 1500 calories a day, your metabolism will shift down

Also insulin resistance is another subject not talked about often, insulin is what causes your body to store fat when levels are high, which is triggered when eating carbs, so if you eat a low calorie diet but eat carbs every 3 hours it will keep your insulin levels spiked

The true method to weight loss is fasting, fast for a minimum of 16 hours, and do weight training during your fast, once you get low enough bodyfat start to use cardio to help shred the extra bit of fat

When you decide to eat after your fast, dont worry so much about calorie counting, just eat foods that are low in calories, they will fill you up

Vegetables, chicken breast, protein shakes, turkey meat, low calorie popcorn, wheat bread, these are my go to foods

How often to fast?

How often to fast?
As often as you can, preferablly every single day

The more you do it, the easier it will become

And when you get used to it, try to extend periods of fasting to 24 hours then 48 hours

Just remember your lean ancestors didnt sit down and eat every 4 hours, some days they didnt eat at all, all religions have fasting periods as well, too bad fat fuck Americans skip the fast nowadays, cant go 2 hours without a bag of chips

Eating foods that are high in volume and low in calories is good advice because it keeps you satiated and hence makes losing fat easier. I too like vegetables and chicken.

It is possible to count calories sufficiently well. Use accurate scale.

The metabolic slowdown is way exaggerated. It happens but the effect is way smaller than what people think. Even people who are literally starving don't have a big metabolic slowdown.

You don't have to fast to lose weight. Calories in < calories out and you lose weight. It doesn't matter whether you fast or not: if your body gets fewer calories than it uses, you will lose weight. There is no other option. You can fast if you want to, but it's not required for fat loss.

Its much easier to not eat than to eat too much and burn it off later

It depends on your situation, there nothing wrong with eating a lot of food and then use cardio to burn it off

But I believe fasting is easier, more efficient, and more consistent way to burn fat

4 months, I'll take that

220 days for me over

About 50 days... ok I can reward myself a few McNuggets here and there, i'm no hurry. I'm already skinny.

Genetics is an excuse.
Genetics play a big role in staying lean because they never have the urge overeat. Having the orge to overeat always is partly genetics. But you can control your weight with watching your diet so you dont get fat.

Facts. Fuck gymcells and their muh eating every 2 hours meme

I feel like its inflated, it says that I will reach to 10% bf with my current deficit within 3 months,
my current estimation is 4-5 months for 12%, and that along side with heavy cardio

Ages ago if I could fucking sleep on a deficit

then why did i lose 4 pounds per month with calorie counting and fasting retard?
i literally counted what was on the label and did a 500 calories max diet, mostly 300 something ; you NEVER do more than 500 , especially shit like minus 1000 cause you won't be able to sleep and cause cortisol spikes because of stress and lack of sleep
you adjust your calories down obviously, after 2 weeks, to compensate for lost weight; also of course you eat a heavy protein diet, as that will keep your muscles and carbs release insulin, which prevent leptin, meaning you wont ever be full
the key to any weight loss program is SUSTENABILITY, otherwise if you quit, even for a short time, its all for nothing
if you dont calculate your calories you are shooting in the DARK at the enemy and you dont know what the hell you're doing, fasting or not

well you wont burn that much ever, i think you ll burn approx 300-400 something by cycling that much
here is a link that you may find informative, detailing how many calories running/ cycling burns
