Some of the best sex I've had was from an ex that hit me up like that nearly a year after a bad breakup. She was the one who dumped me, but thankfully I was already healed and dating other women at that time. lol

Most of the time they're just lonely/bored or disappointed with the guys they've tried being with since you. But occasionally they genuienly want to see if you're still available out of familiarity and desperation and a 'grass not greener on the otherside' situation.
