Whenever I close my eyes all I see is the worst things possible

I just see rape destruction future wars I don't think its schizophrenia since its never a hallucination just my imagination. I wish it would go away. Whenever I am not actively doing something listening to music walking working typing ect whenever my mind can be allowed to wonder these horrible images return. The only break I have is sleep.
