You could name them niche-situations. There are certain careers (e.g. Law, education) where currently new female entrees dominate the field in quantity. This leads them having high stress long-hours jobs.. so no time for social life... in an office where let’s say 80% of the new blood is female.. In that situation, a 6/10 man with average status could land a “lonely” 7.5/10 GF.

TLDR: it’s basic supply and demand really.. like tinder in reverse.. but it’s certainly the exception to the rule and limited to certain social circles - career circumstances that could lead to that result
