IQmaxxing is not actually increasing your IQ number. Your IQ score is completely predetermined, nothing you can do to change it.

IQmaxxing is increasing cognitive function ie: long and short term memory, reducing brain fog, improving attention span, improving focus, etc.

IQmaxxing is increasing cognitive function ie: long and short term memory, reducing brain fog, improving attention span, improving focus, etc.

how would u derive a persons "iq score" objectively? the most objective measurement you can really do is how physically fast a persons neurons fire/wire/move, and that doesnt correlate alot with performance

Well your IQ score is just the most standardised way to assess human intelligence. Whenever someone talks about intellect and how smart people are, IQ is always brought up.

Your IQ score is verified by taking a cognition test in a controlled environment (in person in a psychologists office, not some BS online one), and the reason it is objective is because markers compare your test to everyone else’s performance in the world, and you are given a number in relation to all the other IQs.

IQ is not some sort of magical number that tells whether someone will be a htn millionaire drowning in pussy everyday or a homeless subhuman on the street. It is a flawed measurement that doesn’t reflect someone’s intelligence fully, but it is kind of the best one we’ve got.

I already do read a lot and school comes easy for me, I have well over 100+ science books in my collection and I average a 93 while not studying and barely taking notes. I just feel like I can do more with what I have and the two ways u mentioned don't stimulate my brain enough since my life doesn't evolve around it. I want to know other ways to stimulate my brain in my free time other than reading if that helps?

i see what you mean, but you cannot call it "completely predetermined", its quite contensted by research, for example, the flynn effect shows iq scores have risen substantially across generations, about 3 points per decade in alot of countries (which couldnt be explained by genetic changes)


also, your simplifying calling a iq test objective, different iq tests (like wais, standford binet, ravens etc) yields different scores for the same person

and its hard to call it "objective" or "predetermined" if the test includes domain related questions, a person who studies engineering might make more lose associative connections or analogies to solve a question, this type of pattern also shows up on some knowledge free tests where people develop transferable problem solving strats

i wouldnt say there really is one i guess?? its all subjective and semantics based, since well... how would you define iq? if someone was creative but bad in academic related performances, are they high iq? is someone high iq for reading books or learning alot?

if i were to try to standardizing it, i would split it in a few different categories & tests:

firstly creative arts & associations: this sort of test is the hardest to objectively measure, but my approach would include measuring how well someone is at divergent/associative connections, we give them little input (etc, a general theme, maybe a few individual objects/pieces) and see how well they can make cross domain associations that are coherent and fitting

next would be discovery/novelty: how well can someone be given a problem/task/goal and work through it in a novel way (that being: fundamental change instead of incremental thinking, so reframing instead of incrementing on ones idea)

next would probably be some sort of working memory capacity: how much someone can hold & manipulate at once

I once did a mini test on working memory and capacity. Basically 3 sequences of 5 letters and numbers flashed on the screen (4 seconds each, 4 second intervals in between) and then after, you were asked to recite however maybe you could remember.

Something similar to this could be effective for a memory and capacity section of this test.

Also, say this test were a real thing, would the result be? A numbered score similar to IQ? a rank? A percentile score?

I think you should read more about topics you don’t know about, check out topics over maybe complex shit like you could read a book about engineering, you could learn to code or learn math above your grade level.
