I'm quite new to learning this too but I can share concepts I know for long-term investing
- Stocks, Bonds
- Diversification
- Index Funds. ETFs/Mutual Funds that track a market index (like S&P 500, FTSE 100, MSCI World Index) are superior to Actively Managed funds which involve shitty "financial professionals" who usually underperform in the market and charge very high annuial fees on top of that.
- Compound Interest
- Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA)
- Rebalancing
- Inflation
- Time Horizon

Just start by researching this plenty of info on google and youtube.

Find a way to get traffic (web, social media, etc.) and then monetize it with ads or something you're selling. If you don't want to deal with selling anything, the TikTok creator program is probably best. You can also find products from Affiliate Networks like Clickbank or Crakrevenue and market them as your own.

Basically you want to have a place you keep disposable money you dont need immediate access to in a place where it can grow more than it will in a bank. This can be anything but if you are new you are going to want to stick with diversified funds (in other words you buy one stock that is technically 100 different stocks combined into one all carefully chosen and constantly managed by educated investors) aka ETFs, REITS, index funds, etc, depending on your risk assessment, goals, and how long you plan to invest. At the end of the day for the average trader it is going to be best to invest in an etf that is diversified as much as possible such as VOO or even better VT (and etf that holds big stocks in America and all around the world). Ultimately you should aggregate your own research to determine which investment will fit your long term goals, because not everyone wants the same thing or has the same risk aversion.

With money you DO need liquid or atleast somewhat immediate access to im times of crisis, you want to keep it in a place where it can keep up with or beat inflation. This can be something like SGOV, bonds, metals (very risky), or a good savings account. You can also get CDs or an HYSA however that money would not be as immediately accessible and tbh SGOV has the same or better returns while keeping your money more accessible

Its also fun to put 5-10% aside liquid in your brokerage so you can ape into opportunistic short term investments or maybe trades like crypto or single stocks, tbh even some polymarket picks are genuinely good investments rigjt now becauee of how unregulated and corrupt that app is. Oppertunities always pop up and its important to have liquid available to capitalize off them. That being said, these kinds of investments cause a majority of people to lose their money and its best to hold off on doing shit like this until you have spent a decent amount of watching and learning about market trends and know how to take advantage of the public hysteria rather than falling into it.

Paper trading is comoletely pointless don't fall into that trap. I really doubt anyone learns from paper trading.

At the end of the day there is a crazy amount of ways to invest and they all depend on starting capital, goals, and risk tolerance. For most people just wanting to invest long term with low risk, grow their money slightly while offsetting inflation putting most of their money into index funds like voo or qqq. Obviously the higher your risk tolerance is the more money you can make; or more importantly loose. You can go all the way from bonds to day trading 0dte options. PM me with your goals, starting capital, and risk tolerance and I’d be happy to give you my personal opinion on what could
Be best for you. If I was to leave you with one tip, if you are a long term investor and are able to stomach short term drops, dump every penny you have into the market asap, most companies and indexes are at massive discounts (meaning low price relative to fair value price) and have high upside.
