Back when I was in college I was treated like a kid, I would go out to smoke with others during breaks and they would stare awkwardly at me, at least two people commented: "You smoke weird...". I quit smoking after a few weeks, since I couldn't fit in the smoker groups and cliques.
I told people that I want to do drugs, I wanted weed, and they would stare incredulously at me and claim they don't know anyone who has drugs. I later found out that some of them actually smoked weed regularly, they had connections, but for some reason they just didn't want to share them with me.
