Where does the liquid go after injecting?

I started test c. Did my second injection of .5ml again today. If you’re wondering where the liquid goes after you inject, it just stays in the fat and your body slowly uses it. There’s a lump depending on several factors but here’s a photo of my injection site. Not very painful but you have to consistently push it in for a few minutes because I’m using a 29 gauge. It’s not an ab btw that’s just a small lump in the circle
