I am 6‘2/3 and my Bideltoid is 16.5-17 inches. I am so narrow and going to the gym won’t save me. This has been a problem since a long time.

Where should I do surgery if I want the best results and money isn’t an issue?

3 cm is marginal, think critically how much this would actually improve ur life. and now think the costs of surgery (money, health, the inconvenience of it)

Also doesn't clavicle plates shut late I'm pretty sure alot of guys clavicles expand until 23 and getting the surgery would have to prevent any growth, even hgh and roids would have a better chance at more then 3 cm not to mention the surgery would make you deformed

Tbh doesn't matter that much unlesd you also have a big head

Below average clavicle is around 13-14 cm, average 14-16, wide 16–18

Health risk is way less comparing to same LL, as clavicle is not area that our body rely on

Yeah cost can be high for some people, but if you rich then it shouldn’t affect you

Probably some kid obsessed with it, it makes sense only if you are gymcel

yes but its also common for them not to grow significantly after puberty even if they havent 100% shut. using hgh and AI could work but has its own costs and risks

Theres a guy in my class with narrow shoulders but hes tall and his head is on the smaller side so it barely matters

an "improvement" even you wouldn't be able to notice. Not worth.
Are you an idiot? Narrow clavicle and wide clavicle is is 4 cm difference :feelsuhh:

Average is 41cm or 16 inches. This is tricky to measure, however.

It’s definitely a high impact surgery in terms of moving up the percentiles but the question is whether having a 99th percentile bideltoid actually matters to the point it’s worth having surgery for.

It’s not a bideltoid measurement, +3cm to each clavicle, average male clavicle length is around 16cm.

In that case 50th percentile will be 160mm
and 99th percentile 185mm, what aligns with your bideltoid length chart (+6cm from average)

However, it’s a bone length, and it’s hard to measure exact impact on whole structure.

Also it can be beneficial to bring clavicle up, achieving straight clavicle with shoulders.

Clavicle length is less important than biacromial which also takes into account clavicle angle and their attachment point on the sternum. It’s also very difficult to measure clavicles directly and in themselves they have no impact on aesthetics, they only serve to increase biacromial.

Biacromial is the best predictor of bideltoid and bideltoid is in the end what really matters.

Nevertheless, adding 3cm to each clavicle will increase biacromial by 6cm which is insane, enough to take bottom 1% to top 99% in a single surgery.

The question still remains, is there an upper limit to the female-gaze benefits of bideltoid width? The 1.618 shoulder to waist ratio generally proposed is significantly narrower than most Teenage Roided Chads these days.

So if I got clavicle lengthening for 2.5cm each side with my 42cm biacromial I’d be at 47cm, which is top 0.2% or one in 800 men. This aligns with the rarity of high CL face or an unfrauded height of 6’6”.

I’m just not convinced that being such an outlier in any category except face has the same type of exponential value though

Its simply not worth all the time and money when you could just hit the gym and get the same increased shoulder width + increased test + increased metabolism + increased bone health

the latest distraction surgery gives you 6 cms in total
good luck getting that width with muscles

You will never gain 6 cm frame in the gym, good luck with even 2 cm.

And gym won’t fix shape of clavicle, making it straighter.

Other people have already posted good points as to why this surgery isn't worth it (that you should probably check out but you'd rather bicker with me), but there is no point arguing with you because you've already come to your own conclusions
It's your life bro jfl
